Caring for your items
Please check out these tips for the best way to achieve longer lasting products.
Mugs & Drinkware
Please wash your item before first use.
All of our drinkware should avoid the dishwasher. When a mug goes into the dishwasher it is exposed to heat for a long duration of time. This can cause the print to begin to fade.
Please do not put enamel mugs in the microwave.
Of course you can scrub your printed flask on the outside, don't go too crazy though.
These rules apply to all of our printed accessories excluding textile items.
Garments & Textiles
-
Ink Printed
For items that are ink printed please wash at 40c or lower. These items can be tumble dried on low. Double check the label in the item too.
-
Embroidery
If your item is embroidered simply follow the instructions on the label. Sometimes your embroidery can go a tad out of shape, you can flatten it whilst it is wet and then once dry iron the embroidery to help it regain its shape.
-
Vinyl
Vinyl printed textiles need a bit more care. If you can, avoid using too much fabric softener, this can get into the vinyl and soften the glue.
Please do not put your vinyl printed items in the tumble dryer or wash above 30c. This will cause your vinyl to peel off. We see too often clothing that has gone through the tumble dryer, the vinyl crinkles and lifts from the material.
You can extend the life of your vinyl by ironing the reverse of the item. This will help to reactivate the glue when it has been washed.
Do not iron directly onto the vinyl, either iron inside out or use baking paper between the vinyl and the iron.
